Indoor team experiences designed around how your people work together

Indoor team building should never feel like a fallback option. When it is designed properly, it can be one of the most effective ways to improve how people communicate, solve problems and work together under pressure. At SEE Events, we design and deliver indoor team building activities for corporate groups, conferences, away days and leadership teams across the Lake District, Cumbria, the North West and wider UK. We start by understanding what is happening in your team and what you need the experience to achieve — whether that is clearer communication, stronger collaboration, better decision-making, improved confidence or greater alignment. From problem-solving challenges and collaborative tasks to conference energisers and indoor team activities, we shape the experience around your group, venue, timings and desired outcome. The result is an indoor team event that feels engaging on the day and delivers value back in the business.

The challenge is not finding an indoor activity. It is making It count.

It is easy to choose an indoor activity that keeps people busy for an hour. The harder part is choosing something that actually supports the reason you brought everyone together in the first place. That is why we design indoor team building experiences around the outcome you need. For some teams, that means improving communication. For others, it means encouraging better problem-solving, building confidence, strengthening relationships or helping people work more effectively under pressure. We will help you choose a format that fits your people, venue and objectives, so the event feels relevant, engaging and useful back in the workplace. Because a successful indoor team building event should not just be remembered as a good session. It should help your team work better afterwards.

The Master of the Tasks event is a riotous, laughter-filled team-building experience that brings a fun twist to collaboration and problem-solving!

Drawing inspiration from popular TV game shows, it creates an unforgettable atmosphere full of humour, creativity, and a little bit of chaos. Teams will compete in a number of hilariously challenging tasks. Each game or task is designed to be as ridiculous as it is fun! Teamwork at its core, success in Master of the Tasks comes from working together.

Perfect for breaking down barriers and building camaraderie, Master of the Tasks is ideal for team-building events that want to focus on joy, collaboration, and positive shared moments.

In teams, participants will be given the task to design and create an amazing piece of art!

This could be a company logo, vision or a team inspiration which will then be painted onto large team canvases.  Teams will work together to ensure the canvases can be displayed as one creation with a common thread; how they all interpret that is up to them and their creative flair! The final art work will be mounted as a story board or design together to create one entire piece of work.

This high-energy, fast paced event enables participants to discover their and their team mates creative and innovative potential whilst working together to create something symbolic and memorable!

Project Railway is a great exercise for introducing the challenge of managing projects that have an important implication and end result to a wider project outcome. It involves all of the delegates working in small sub teams to produce part of a larger construction.

We provide essential materials; bamboo canes, tubing, props, and other creative and useful stuff, plus a brief for each team to start working on. The object of this task is to build a structure set within given guidelines that will transport an object over a specific distance. Throughout the construction period we will intervene and introduce building constraints and production requisites that individual teams will have to accommodate and observe.

This task provides you with an opportunity to explore and experience the valuable learning outcomes from working in sub divisions to contributing to a wider project. The result is a great sense of achievement and collaborative result.

Unlike the TV series, Squad Games will consist of your team working together instead of against each other.

Each of the games will be played as a team allowing the opportunity to win points for your team’s piggy bank. There will be no elimination as such, just maximum or minimum points gained per challenge. The overall aim of Squad Games is for your team is to have the most points at the end of all the games.

We will deliver a series of rounds that vary in ability/agilities; from mental, physical to creative tasks. The rounds can include games such as ddakji, statues, some problem solving games, house of cards, rock.paper.scissors,  the ‘biscuit’ challenge and more. All games will have teams set in their paces and competing to win! Now all you need to do is play the game.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose – Eco events making a difference!

Not a day goes by without news about the global, harmful effects of plastics and other discarded materials on our environment. Our Eco Events are about reusing, recycling, repurposing and highlighting the need to make big changes to our throwaway culture.

In collaboration with our local Community Scrapstore, our aim is to offer creative re-use and recycling projects; diverting waste from landfill and turning it into useful creative opportunities and resources for all. We utilise a multitude of unwanted ‘rubbish’ from businesses and upcycle it into environmentally friendly, creative teamwork!

This is the ultimate in competitive events that will test ingenuity, teamwork and time management. But don’t be fooled – it’s great fun!

Unlike most events, in “Stop The Clock” the teams make all the decisions on what activities they do and how long they spend doing them. They will be presented with up to 20 different opportunities to earn points within an overall time period. Activity options range from problem-solving to fun challenges. The faster and more efficiently your team work, the more they get done and the more points they earn.

Racing against the clock, it will not be possible to complete all of the activity options before the deadline. With that in mind, careful planning and a good strategy is the key to success. The activity options are a structured mix that appeal to different personalities, ensuring that everyone has a great time.

When the going gets tough the tough get going! This highly motivating experience is great for boosting team morale.

This is one of our most popular cookery team building events, we will have your teams literally up to their elbows in this hands-on chocolate challenge. Each team will not only have to make and brand a box from the raw materials but also complete a manufacturing order of over 100 chocolates per team (based on a team of 8) so there is plenty to take home. (making it home is a different matter).

Groups nominate a project manager; this will be followed by a fun and interactive demonstration on chocolate making to include chocolate tempering, ganache making, dipping and finishing.  In the Chocolate Challenge, teams decide on a daring and diverse concept to break into the chocolate market. Looking at manufacturing branding, box design and marketing.  Teams present their chocolates and centre piece ready to go into the board room. Spokespersons give presentations and must persuade the judge why their teams are quite simply the best. Points are awarded for taste, creativity, concept, presentation and the pitch.

Team Bake off is one of our most popular activities with both clients and crew; this is a 100% hand’s on race against the clock to complete several baking challenges, the success or failure will be down to teamwork and leadership in this immense fun and creative team activity. Our pop up cookery school and expertise can help budding bakers anywhere!

You and your team will work with a professional pastry chef to make a variety of traditional Bakes with a Cumbrian theme. After a short introduction from our host to include a warm up exercise and some good housekeeping there will be a cookery demonstration from Head the chef who will challenge teams to make, bake, and decorate a variety of bakery and pastry items whilst the clock is ticking. Lots of fun, lots of energy and no soggy bottoms!

This is an excellent team event and a great leveller – can your team work under pressure? Your group will go head-to-head to produce a tasty dish for your colleagues to judge. When it’s their turn to cook for you, will you be a John Terrode or a Gordon Ramsay?

An experienced expert chef will demonstrate cooking and knife handling skills as well as health and safety. Each team will be responsible for all aspects of their dishes, which includes table-setting and serving their hungry colleagues.

Finally, teams give feedback and an overall score of the dishes. The winner from each category goes before our judges, who are looking for creativity, taste and teamwork. They’ll give the final verdict and crown the Simply Come Dining Champion!
