Augill Castle is not a conventional hotel, but a family home which welcomes guests. They are essentially a B&B with alot of extra bells and whistles work hard to retain the castle's unique family atmosphere.

The award winning castle has fourteen bedrooms or family suites. There are turrets for wardrobes, stained glass windows and big views towards the Lake District & Yorkshire Dales. All the bedrooms are decorated with bold colours and furnished with antiques.

Augill Castle offers honest, imaginative, locally sourced & seasonal cooking. As with all good country houses, the Dining Room is at the heart of the castle and many a new friendship has been made around the castle's oak dining table.

The Castle offers the perfect and one of the most unique venues in the Lake District & Yorkshire for weddings or group parties. Augill is also a great venue for a Business Retreat or small conference and is so much more than just a meeting place.

Try a selection of team building events or activities from motorised vehicle activities, archery, clay pigeon shooting, falconry, climbing, sailing and evening entertainment all available from Augill or on the neighbouring sporting estates.
